    My Love

    You always hear me laugh,
    Never hear me cry.
    Endless thoughts of pain,
    I hold so deep inside.
Even though its been a long day
    Your not by my side.
    I sleep alone again tonight.
With only the hope of hearing your voice,
    Before I lay down tonight.
As I drift off to dream,
Images of you taunt me through my sleep,
As if they know your not here with me.
When I awaken my thoughts of you are taken.
I put them deep within my mind.
So one more day I can hide,
All these feelings I hold deep inside.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
