    Judie

    Judie my heavens descendent friend

    A woman and a man

    An  absolute trend

Would you stay tonight with me?

    Judie you remember me

    Remember saving me

    From my mysteries.

When I was young, or when I am old

You have promised to live for me

We will live by the beach

We will hold hands and reach

    We will seek and preach

    Judie my favourite speech

Your name is what upkeeps me

    With my loose change

Would you stay tonight with me?

I am feeling lonely, I am feeling deceived

Darkness and cheating is all I can see

I need your wisdom to again find me

We will live by the sea; we will hold hands to reach

And if it gets tight we can always sing

Would you stay tonight with me?

That painful dream is haunting me again

It keeps coming back to me every time I try

    To push you away

Would you stay tonight with me?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
