Just a Doll

Just a Doll

Tick tock from a clock, as time moves backwards I hear the ticking from a clock.
Tick tock from a clock, the girl sits silently in the dark.
Tick, silence is broken, Tock, you barely hear a name.
Tick, Alice; Tock, kill Alice.
You feel a blade around your neck, a shiver runs down your back.
Tick, in the mirror you see your life,
Tock, and in an instant you see the end of your life.
Tick, the girl sits as a tear of blood runs down her cheek, Tock, she say's I am but a doll.
Tick tock from the clock.

creepy, weird, scary and last but not least, pretty damn cool.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
