Just A Dream

Just A Dream

Just a Dream

All that we are made of,

The touch of summer's wind,

When the whisper of innocence

Is in your ear again.

Life is just a painted window,

The Paint is worn and chipped,

Step into the pale light,

Through the curtains torn and ripped.

And it's a dream, it's just a dream

It’s a dream, and I am whole,

I pull you to me

Look in my soul,

It’s a dream, you are in me,

The lost time we hold

See the grass bend in the wind,

As you touch me with your eyes closed,

You're scattered in the sunlight,

On the dark side of the moon,

Falling through the twilight,

In a drunken motel room,

And that landscape hangs so crooked,

Above a cold and empty bed,

There's a vision cloaked in midnight,

Chasing ghosts inside your head,

Guarding that castle tower,

by a black and frozen sea,

Cast the spell of an ancient flower,

Where the waves break hard and free,

And it's a dream, it's just a dream

It’s a dream, and I am whole,

I pull you to me

Look in my soul,

It’s a dream, you are in me,

The lost time we hold

See the grass bend in the wind,

As you touch me with your eyes closed,

Do you see it, Can you touch it,

Do you want it, Can you feel it,

It’s a dream, just a dream,

It’s a dream, just a dream
