Always know where you come from and where you've been
But don't ever take for granted what is yet be
Life may be tough at times
But you can get through the bad times knowing
You survived tougher times before
You have what it takes to make it through
Not only for you but for everyone that look at you
For the simple things in life
Sure you rather be somewhere else and
Doing something else
But tough times is not a fun place
It's a place to build character
It's a place where everything around you gets tested
From yourself to your significant other
Some make it but some don't
And after the dust settles
The one left standing
Should always be YOU
Not only for you but for those that depend on you
Cause afterall
 they are the ones that make you look forward
To the simple things in life
As I look at this picture of me
I realize that my best is yet to come
It may be low tide now
But I know my high tide is coming soon
What I've gone through has given me the knowledge
Not to go through it again
Therefore I wait....
