LIFE LIKE A SWANN

Life Like a Swan

When a Swan flies onto the water,
Does he fly far before landing onto the pond?

His weight is never a burden that weighs too heavy for him to fly, never holds him back from soaring farther and higher in the sky.

If he could would he fly farther away or does he prefer to enjoy the journey as he glides over the pond?

Content because he was created beautiful in this way.

Oh, how nice to see him fly in all his glory with his gorgeous wings and style and to land on the water with perfect composture.

He swims around the pond in a exquisite demeanor. His head held high as to say,
"Look at me I'm amazingly created to be this swan you see."

To fly and to swim on the pond.
Content to be what he is, a swan.

Individually designed and a awesome portrayal of life's ups and downs.

No matter if we fly for a season,
be prepared to swim on the pond through life at times.

Unlike the weight of a swan which is not  a burden,

Burdens can weigh heavy upon us.

Trying to interfer to limit the abilities to fly.

So we must swim.

Enjoy our survival like a swan enjoys his glide.

With our heads held high,

Beautifully and gorgeously positioned with perfect posture for all to see,

Adorned to be adored.

Fly to swim, swim to fly.

Like a swan,

Life Like a Swan

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
