Life Truths
The older you get the wiser you’re supposed to be,
They say you’ll be able to more clearly see,
To face the ever changing stages of life,
With happiness, less bitterness and strife.
The hardest part sometimes is letting go
Of people and events that have hurt you so,
Though some memories are pleasant and great
You must be careful not to live in the “past” state.
There is a truth that you must accept at last,
The future will be better than the memories of the past,
Don’t live in despondency or in a “what if” mentality,
But face each day with a new sense of hope and clarity.
In life there are many different seasons but,
Be a ssured that everything really does happen for a reason.
Every experience up to this point has prepared you for your call
Remember you have a firm foundation in Christ- in Him you’ll never fall.
