Little sister

Little sister

I blame myself for what I did,
what I said, I'm just a kId
I regret making choices I wish I could change
and now my little sister is out of range
I want to turn back to the good times we had
And forget all the things that made you mad
I hope you still trust me
 and believe ill do better
I hope that you love me enough for a letter
I cry every night wishing you were here
then realizing you were always near
close by spirit heart and mind
 I wish I had realized
but I was blind.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
