    lonely death

    Death is a dark abyss
Death is a lonely black hole
    My shadow is gone
    My shadow has disappeared

    Because I am dead
    I have no soul
    No shadow
    No life

    Death has taken over me
Death has me in its clutches
I am trying to get away from death
Calling out for some one to save me

    Black to white
    Tan to pale
    No longer dead or alive
It just left me somewhere in between

    nice statment

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
