LOST CHILDREN
As the water flowsFrom their eyes
I reach down
To clean their faces
Little children
Who are lost
No parents
In these open spaces
Countries are at war
And they fight for their lives
Never forget them
As we live our lives...
LOST CHILDREN
As the water flowsIf I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
