    Lost in Solitude

    Woman
    qualified
    for duties of
    love
    is fading away
    like the moon
    when
    the sun rises

    When her mouth
    speaks
    about love
    which her heart
    carries through
    her body
    -through a long way-
    still not received
    the sign

    Conducted by
    uncertainty
    and guided
    by the minds eye
    she unwittingly
    follows the tracks
    of her cold
    past
    Her well founded
    attitude
    deeply ingrained
    in the veil
    of charity

    Woman
    qualified
    for duties of
    love
    tempers justice
    with custody
    Bounteously sentenced
    to the mercy
    of
    sensible solitude

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
