Poem Commentary

I just want some input, Anything that will help me become a better writer, any criticism or comments are greatly appreciated. That said, I wrote this poem about when you have a good friend, and then they just abandon you there, like you're best friends with someone and they just ditch you. Yes it is a bit of a childish theme, but I'm not really that old, I just want some crits and comments.

Lost

I am lost,
I have no face,
I am gone,
But life moves along,
I am lost,
And I am alone,
They think they are friends,
They are wrong,
They left me when they knew I was gone,
The looks of disgust I saw on their faces,
They think I forgot,
But I still see traces,
I am alone,
I am long gone,
They left me,
Now I need someone to rescue me,
To notice me,
But I am alone,
And I am lost
And no one cares,
For the lone girl,
Who drowns in sorrow,
Alone I am lost.

Interesting write. I don't think it is childish. The "traces" and "faces" rhyme seems a little forced for me, but otherwise I like it fine. Keep writing!
