    Love chasin

    let me be
    be the one
    to my golden soul
    soul that protects
    thoughts of you
    nothing new happens
    happens every
    two minutes fifty-five
    seconds five more to three
she loves the stars from your eyes
    that light her city
for if she went blind images of your smile the last she'd remember
middle of the day pillow fights
    kool-aid kisses unconventional expressions
    captured passions love sessions
    flowing talent through your chambers
    surpassing mans greatest achievement
five hundred mile whispers "I'll always be here"
    living nightmares waiting to wake
wake in warmth of his breath across her ears
    " relax I got you"
    forever got you
    believing every indescribable moment lasts
    gods controlling destiny

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
