    love

I miss you baby, I’m missing you!

I miss you like water that’s not wet,

I miss you like a gambler that don’t bet.

I miss you like perfume without the scent,

I miss you like a clue without a hint.

I miss you like bee’s without honey,

I miss you like a rich man without money.

I miss you like a blind man do his sight,

I miss you like darkness do the night.

I miss you like sugar that’s not sweet,

I miss you like fire without the heat.

I miss you baby, I’m missing you!

I miss you like a clock without time,

I miss you like a porky without his pine.

I miss you like a skunk without the smell,

I miss you like a postman without his mail.

I miss you like an instrument without a tune,

I miss you like a house without a room.

I miss you like ice that’s not cold,

I miss you like ancient days that’s not old.

I miss you like a fish miss water in the sea,

I miss you like a cookbook without a receipt.

I miss you baby, I’m missing you!                                                 “ ABSTRACT LOVE”

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
