    LOVING YOU

                        LOVING YOU
                        BY: TERRY A. JONES

    Loving you is my life
of which I choose to prove
Of all the other things in life
this life "I give to you"
Your love is not just special
it's real, it's good and true
It's every little ounce of me
    it's everything I do

If things were just as simple
in life as it was planned
The life I'd choose, would be with you
to love and be your man
But since it's not a simple life
on which we have made our stand
Loving you means more to me
    than life could ever plan

I love you more than need you
yet I need you just the same
The life I have in store for us
is all I wish to gain
I hope I can fulfill your needs
and love you more each day
yet I seem to be at a loss for words
with only one thing left to say

    I Love You...                              7-21-09

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
