Maturity?
Maturity?by Joel Howard
Maturity is not quick and easy
Perfect or stainless
Instead, maturing is
messy
slow
thoughtful
a step at a time and
very, very imperfect
It requires much grace
It is hard
painful
and full of process
and failure
Maturity?
Maturity?A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
