May God send you His Muse!

(Inspired by two dedicated and fine writers)

May the Muse look gently on your shoulder,
pointing you in the right direction,
    providing you with immense clarity,
taking you to where you need to go
    and unlocking those precious memories.
Penning to paper what transpires in the head
after being lived through the heart.
Unleashing, in the process, your wisdom,
    strength and sincerity,
    while silencing the internal critic,
    as you progress and ruminate
through to a truly promising piece of work!

May it breathe ever so softly into your ear,
Like a baby’s soft, angelic breath,
all that you need to hear,
as you embark on your narrative and philosophic inquiry; your art.
Like the artist who mixes and blends
    to produce perfect, yet gentle, brushstrokes on canvas;
May you also find the perfect blend
    of logos, pathos and ethos
as you gently fuse your thoughts and suppositions,
like a literary spell and concoction; inborn skill and craft.
So that once again you succeed in turning
    the ordinary into extraordinary!

This is Great! i enjoyed it and i loved the clairvoyance of this! especially since i pray for this type of guidance in my own work. beautifully said! i don't rate, but i can't resist a definite 10!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
