Me, Myself, and I

Me, Myself, and I

I stood before the mirror this morning and asked "Who am I?"

I sat in the chair drinking my morning coffee and said "I don't understand myself!"

I walked up to a stranger and asked "Do you know me?"

I asked these questions of myself, but yet did not receive an answer.

So I took it to GOD and he explained it to me, myself, and I. GOD said unto this person of questions---"I am you and you are me". You understand yourself, yet refuse to accept what I put before you. I know who you are without a doubt.

You are my angel, child, and flesh of my flesh. As you grow through me, understanding comes everyday. Yet you question yourself because of the daily trials. It is through these trials that you come to know me, myself, and I.

With each new growth comes this understanding. Take heed my child for through GOD'S growth you come to who you are, to understand yourself and to let other peopl know who you are.

There are a couple of spelling issues, but the message was clear I thought it deserved a lot better then a 2. The flow was kinda of choppy but as a whole the poem was well thought out don't lose heart Robert...

Take ur time and let the Lord work his words through you.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
