    Moving On

    I miss your words
    Which I once heard,
    I miss your touch
    Which I once felt;
    Living in past mentality
    Thinking of you,
    Embraces reality
    And pushes me through.

    Body heals,
    Mind thrives,
    People change all with time.
    I'll follow my path
    Which you once lead
For worst you're done upon me
    I wish you nothing less.

    No need to blame
    The damage's done,
    What we once had
    In brought us this far.
    Let this be a lesson
    And never a regret
But do us both a favor
And let this be the end!

I've always been fascinated by the female enboldening when it come to relationships. To love and to lose. To be clingy and not be able to understand what the word 'no" means, or "it's over." I like your poem. The short lines are packed full of meaning and make for a airy and meaningful read. Beautiful extended metaphor. Clever ending of pun.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
