    My Celtic Princess

Her beauty is a thing to see
She tells me that she's glad I'm me.
She helps me see the good in all
When all I see are faults galore.
    No matter how I search
to try to hurt and besmirch.
    She fills the room like
a million roses all in bloom.
I try to find some hurt to hurl
But she smiles just like a little girl.

My foolish hate just melts away
It's beauty that she knows the way.
To turn my black heart made of stone
That has caused me years to live alone.
My Celtic Princess shows me light
And now I see my life is bright.
    I owe her all I can't repay
I pray that in my life she stays.

My Celtic Princess gave me life
And ended my life of strife.

    I love this it's beautiful.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
