My Desire

My Desire

With great expectancy
I wait in anticipation
Wondering where you are
But more importantly who you are
Trying to put a face to the unknown
I'm like a child on Christmas Day
Impatiently waiting to open her gift
What do you look like
How tall are you
Do you like sports
I do
Are you kind
Do you love the Lord
Are you rich and wealthy
I hope so
If not I'll take a kind heart
A gentle touch
A lot of love and care
I hope you come soon
I'll be waiting for you
With open arms and a big smile
Pleased by what I see
Encouraged by what I hear
Knowing in my heart that you were God sent
Feeling thankful, grateful and content
