    MY FOE

    I am. Mine own enemy

The Self in me holds keys

To open up and loose on me

A fleeting swarm of stinging bees.

    I am my own foe

    Daring the perils of Nature

    Lolling in myopic retrospect

    Languishing in indulging torture.

    I am my own adversary

Discarding the dictates of my manual

Shunning the path to toe the dung

Hurting the self, yet in joy

    I am. Mine own enemy

Looking wide for that foe I know not

Wow, you are certainly amazing. I love your words, they are certainly something to think over. I think we all are our own foes, and you put it just right. Thank you for your words. Keep on writing.
