    My Grandpa

I was the apple of Grandpa's eye,
When I found out he was sick,
    I started to cry.
Grandpa was always there to stop the tears,
Now he lives in constant fears.
I love Grandpa and Grandpa loves me,
I only wish he was the way he used to be.
I wish Grandpa could wake up and see,
How much it hurts to see him this way,
Maybe he will get better some day.

Me too, I understand where this came from, as I watched my grandfather slip away also.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
