    My Heart Sings

there are hills to rest your head
between the valleys there's a bed
lay your weary bones with me
among the majestic tall oak trees

place your lips close to mine
words of love are found with rhyme
gaze towards the massive trees above
beyond the clouds there’s perfect love

no high mountain, deep rivers in our way
gliding with air currents we will stay
wise old owl who coos in the night
your love captures me with star light

place your hand upon my heart
feel the beating that love imparts
warmth between us bring forth joy
with years ahead we can enjoy

    creation speaks loud and clear
my heart sings, but only you can hear

You have plenty of nature around you, that alone is love, then the skies add color and so do the stars. Hearts beating like a murmur of love. This is very nice you bring a lot of color to this little poem.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
