    my life is a prison

                    my life is a prison
                 someone please let me out
                  no one will listen,
                   if i shout

i climb the walls, in fear
              and disappointment
              i always fall
              theres no one there

             my freedom is painful,
            my family says
          no joy, no love, is
          the price i pay.

         i think i'm strong
        they say i'm weak
       is it true or false.
       no one can say

    i always hide the pain
    everything is locked away
    do i have the key?
to give this awful pain away.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
