    My Love

    I thought sure I needed re-wiring.
Although I was certain that all
    the necessary synapses were firing.
I could continue to move with ease without
the slightest hint of tiring when I'm with her.
There was no shame in my game only
the raging fire and a tiger to tame with the rhythm.
I sought ecstacy well within her curves.
Everything within the room began to swerve,
and all care and caution was in the wind.

How glorious that she did not desert me in my passion quest.
She brought fuel to the flame of our motion Everest with brilliance.
She is charming, intelligent, and articulate.
She is generous, warm, sweet and ever blessed with resilience.

The sun failed to shine when she was not around.
Darkness fell upon my heart when I did not hear
the sound of her voice, reminding me that all is well
in the world as long as she was my only choice.

We faced the quest together and I give willingly
all that I am physically, mentally and emotionally.
She agrees emphatically, ecstatically to be forever...my love.

Awww!! Who needs the honey jar with all that sugar?!! LOL

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
