My Newest Ride

As I ride the golden streets of Heaven, I look down upon your face.
I see your tears of sorrow, as I'd have if I were in your place.

Know that I am with you, as our Heavenly Father is each day.
I will be with you in Spirit each time you kneel to pray.

Please know you haven't lost me, although hard to understand.
I watch over you with Jesus now, in this great and glorious land.

The streets of gold are awesome, the birds and plants so colorful.
I love to walk through The Garden, it is SO beautiful!

It's okay to greive for now but dry your eyes soon.  For I
am in a better place, more glorious than the earth, sun, and moon.

Well, Jesus is calling me now. I have more to see.  I'm going to meet
more people today and for supper, the Lord has invited me to stay.

So, go in peace, my loved ones. With Christ, I now abide.
These streets of gold are waiting for me and my newest ride.
