My Shore
you are the peace that calms my troubled sea ,we'll meet beyond the shore
and kiss just as before ,
stay up all night and stare at the lights,
cause darling, you are everything to me.
you are the calming waves in my heart,
that kiss the shore no matter how many times it's turned away.
I was positive I knew you from the start,
I don't want to leave here, I want one more day.
you are the warmth of the sun on my skin,
the happiness that keeps me alive.
I never thought I'd let anyone in,
but for you now, everyday I survive.
you are the cool nights that shine bright,
the stars that light up my life.
the lanterns of my heart, my light.
you are my everything, and always will be,
no matter how far apart,
distance never separates a heart.
