My Soldier....
He stands strong
Before me,
Holding on
To all we have.
His voice,
his face,
his everything....
Lingers in my mind.
He tells me
"everything will be ok"
But is it really?
He stands strong
and fights for his country
keeping me
in his heart.
As he is in mine.
My heart beats
with only his.
And I hear his voice
in my mind
every night when I sleep.
I see his face
in my dreams.
And feel his arms
wrapped around me.
He is everything
to me.
He is.....
My heart beat,
My breath,
My dreams
when i sleep,
My warmth
through the night.
He is...
My soldier,

fighting for his country....
and for me.
