My Weeping Willow

My Weeping Willow

Standing strongly in the sun
I'll come to you when the day is done
Your leaves and branches put me at peace
Moving so elegantly through the breeze

My weeping willow is no ordinary tree
Its' beauty means so much to me
It looks so sad or deeply depressed
But my racing mind is put to rest

The trunk has a heart of gold
Its' roots are so tender and bold
Feeling the grass beneath my feet
Gives me a sense of comfort and greet
