Never Again.

Poem Commentary

And at your cross I lay my burdens At your feet Where your love covers ALL I'VE DONE. Now I walk with you, Lord.

Never Again.

No.
You can not have me.
You will not break me.
You may never take me,
Back to that place
Where I lose my mind every time.

No.
I will not go there.
I will not be trapped in misery.
I will not play this game yet again,
Just to be trampled upon.
I will not give into this pain.

I want it to leave
I want to be Free
It's so hard,
When you're suffocating me.
How long can this last?
Til my knees give out from
This weight I can't carry alone.

Someone Save me.
Now I can't even breathe.
Oh tell me, how did this get so bad?

emotional and honest.....you captured me with the first line and kept me right there with you till the end........good luck to you.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
