never enough
never enough to be all i can,to stand in the spotlight was never at hand,
i always was told,
never was heard,
pushed into the shadow,
and caged like a bird,
always put down,
never enough,
in the eyes of my parents,
i'll never amount up
for sibilings male and female alike,
the ticket is up though i put up a fight,
in an instant i'm gone,
like a breeze gone bye,
never heard from again,
so i say good-bye.
