Nightmare

Nightmare

Beneath the sparkling silver
The sharpest slivers
Of the crystal clear glass
and the single tear
in a crimson blood
within a dreams pain

A twisting memories eye
in a scarlet veil
of the darkness velvet black
as the coolness of stone
a violent cracking
in the smoothness

within the fragments of ice
the innocent touch
of the frosty soul
such a sad silence
in the timeless wind
of a tortured dream

No echos
an empty space
the swiftness of the storm
a cool blue as the sea
a muffled sound
amid the raging wind

the emptiness of the eyes
remaining brief
a sullen wrath
in the shattered air
reaching too deeply
to the shadowed dreams...
