Nocturnal Lovers

Nocturnal Lovers

In the twilight organza
where you conjure me
nightly with the bornagain
tulips and the pipedreams
of sparrows

in the respite of moonlight
released to the marigolds
with your carnival prayers
at the hour of sunset

in the harkening hollows
seeking lifes orchestration
as the flames drain the darkness
with the passing regatta

in the twilight organza
on the seas of cortortion
we are waves of illusion
born on nocturnal waters
