    Poem Commentary

    Morning sickness is tough, but it's worth it in the end :)

    Ode to the Toilet (14 Weeks)

    I bow down in daily worship,
    To the porcelain frame that's become my god
    And stare at a distorted reflection
    That quickly disappears.
    I see the fear in my eyes
    As they bulge in pain
    Trying to refrain from releasing tears.
    And as I pour out myself in sacrifice
    I can feel you move within;
    Thoughts of you--of soon seeing your face
    And hearing your first cry,
    Makes it all worthwhile.

    Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
