    One

You only have one life and you just need one
A short complicated one and then you’ll be gone
There are lots of choices that must be done
But always in a decision there can be only one
Plenty of water but only has one body that needs it all
Different foods but your one stomach is small
One for the money, and that’s just enough
Anything too much isn’t a laughing stuff
Deal with one person at a time
Get one that you can call “mine”
You only need one piece of the land to call your own
If so many then you’ll be torn
You need one landscape to look at the morning sky
You only need one funeral when you die
You only need one partner, one husband or wife
One person with you for the rest of your life
Study to play many musical instruments combined
But play musical instruments one at a time
Life is complicated like this one poem
Sometimes you need to be alone
    First be one
    Then be gone

like the ryhm and the simplicity of expressing your thoughts, combined facts plays smoothly as a poem. keep it up.. i like the line you only need one partner, one husband or wife. one person with the rest of your life.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
