    Our Place

I close my eyes as to go to a place where we can meet
A place where only you and I can be intimate
A place to feel your warm embrace, somewhere to behold your glorious face

I leave the world behind to draw close, to draw near
Hoping the songs of my heart you will hear
How can I not long for you
When thou love is so pure and so true

I kneel down to be found by you
Humbling myself to be close to you
In your arms I find rest, I find peace
A place to set my mind at ease

So sweet, so perfect it feels like a dream
For you to be here, a refreshing brook, a refreshing stream
relieving my hurt, relieving my pain
Beaming on me as the sun after the rain

    This is our place
    A place of intimacy
A place for you, a place for me
    To be one for eternity

Great poem. If reveries were reality...all would wish to dream ceaselessly.

It is so simplistic yet it speaks volumes it was truly a great write

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
