    Our Time

Our memories have faded away. Our hearts are in vain. Our thoughts have disappeared into shame But we are not to be blamed. Our life has been a mystery While we lived threw the misery. Our days have been in our dreams And someday you may begin to see It’s now our time to be free from grief, Spared from disappointments and relieved from despair.

A brief, poignant and matter of fact delivery; very telling and convincing – I’m assuming you used the word threw for through, deliberately. You seem too literate to have made a mistake like that.

    nice and smooth.good work.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
