A tradition I created years ago was to start a fresh new journal at the beginning of each new year. This year my personal life has been in so much turmoil, I've actually discovered within myself an ability I acquired which allows me to mentally shove all matters of my life in need of deep assessment and contemplation into a temporary abyss.

Currently I'm feeling every inch the "brooding artist" vibe outsiders associate with poets and performing artist.

Everyting I write is completely self centered and bare. I enjoy a good fantasy novel... But when it comes to my poems, the perspective of mt reality is baffling to some.
