Greetings,

Upon joining various forums, members at times make mention of my username Liberated Eagle.This being a poetry site I thought I'd write a lil sumn' sumn' to share from where the inspiration derived.

I don't consider myself to be a connoisseur of poetry, it's just a pastime. I really don't take my poetry serious. In my opinion, my best poems are written when I feel a certain amount of pain. Maybe it's because at that point in time my emotions are raw and that's what's portrayed in my poems. I must say it is therapeutic to write after experiencing various trials. I just wish that unction to write would come when I'm happy and not always when I'm sad. Hopefully interacting with everyone here will create a desire to cultivate my ability to write.
