Gosh, that biography word is something else, right?

I don't have anything earth shattering or novel to share. Rather, I,
joined this website because writing poetry has always been my bent.

I was published in a Year Book called "The Daisy" in High School. It was during WWII and most of the poetry had to do with the war. It was the war we thought would end all wars.

Well, you know as I do, it seems that wars (*with sarcasm) *never go out of style. I was in many protests both regarding wars (violence) and Civil Rights.

I am a mother and a grandmother and a great-grandmother and if a
wish fairy came along and asked me what I wished for my loved ones:
in a heartbeat I would say "Peace on Earth and Goodwill to men"

I have written many many poems but only have a few handfuls. Why?
Because, I have moved many many times and still have not found my niche. Many of my friends have passed on to that cabin in the sky;
and I wonder if before the end of my tour: I will witness 'peace on earth'.

still missing mamasan ... `dh

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
