Puppy Love

Life flashes before my eyes
Am I dead?
It can't be true
I have a husband to grow old with and a kid to watch grow past two
Insane, must think I am
For a girl to be this young and
Quite frankly in love
My heart was stolen by a man drenched in black
Eyes bleeding of tears; signed. Initial "L"
The things pounding inside of me
Like a beating drum
I think it's the emotions overwhelming me
With this... Thirst for passion
I couldn't be any more fond to
Share my life with you
Thru the glory, amidst our downfalls
I'm willing to take a chance
Slit my wrist fro a risk shot of love
I dare someone to claim I don't know what i'm talking about
Cause if I don't, then how do you?

love is real and love is true and love is dangerous so take your time and be sure thanks for sharing

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
