    Quicksand Land Sucks

    Shivering Shaved Shallots
    Glimmering Green Girl
Round my head these things swirl
    (Lasting images burnt in wood)

    Blood Bus Barks
    Moon Mimics Monstrously
    Forever is tedious and free
(When now if forced stag nance)

    Today's Tumescent Tendencies
    Tend Towards Tomorrow's Turns
    Until All reality churns
    (In an undecipherable blur)

    Hearts Hold Hope
    Some Say Save Salvation
    But instead mass temptation
(Covers this place like a cancer web)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
