Children grow older and looking for fun
can that be found in gangs with a gun.
Knives and guns just cause much pain
from death what fun did they ever gain.

Hiding from the police in fear is no fun
so why not get rid of the knives or gun.
Why join a gang do you feel a big man
you could do better you know you can.

A death on your conscience is not fun
neither is spending your life on the run.
Hatred and prejudice is no way to live
we all have much more inside to give.

Can you feel the families grief oh no
you just do it again hardness to show.
Loved ones murdered and taken away
give up the guns and knives here today.

Gangs maybe cool and your friends too
god forbid if such pain happened to you.
Could you cope pretending you dont care
when a loved one is killed no longer there.

Where will your gang members be then
will they remember from way back when.
Will they all support you on that sad day
no they will more than likely walk away.

So what benefit was there from your gang
being ultra cool n talking to each in slang.
Hoodies and scarves covering those faces
drinking and causing grief in many places.

Think on young people do use your brain
be cool but do not cause others the pain.
Be young and be true to yourself and live
you bleed and breathe with much to give.
