    "LoveLess Bloom"

we have watered the intent of love
    with premature diversions

    laconic words have now sophisticated
intimacy, and the value of our bond
has defined a brief expression of cordiality

our hearts are quickly disconnected by
    the climax of tangled thighs

our parting, is no longer the exodus
    of bliss

lust no longer pacifies vulnerable ears
and secrets bleeding words of disrespect

seeds of our pass are neglected and
have become extended blooms of many challenges

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
