    Raindrops on the Moon

In the tranquility of the sea
and the beauty on the land,
I tell to thee I love you,
and the you take my hand.
Like an oasis in the desert
or a fire in the cold,
to me, you are my life
as to a miner, life is gold.
    I can imagine holding you
    every hour, every noon.
If my love shall ever fade,
you'll see raindrops on the moon.

I like the word tranquility...Its very captivating...the atmosphere in this poem was very tasteful...Great!

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
