    Rebel Vs pt.1

And baby I'm yours if you want me…(ya gotta sing that shit like "Shai"!)

And baby I'm yours, if you need me…

When you need me I'll be there quick as quicksilver

Quicksilver, like this blood pumping thorough my veins

    When I think of these…

    Rebel Verses

They clutch my valves and aorta

Like women clutch their purses around thugs with big black auras

    Like heart attacks

Soot clogged furnace, stopped up water heaters

    Anno Domini infernus

    This verse is

Turning Latin and even I don't know what the fuck I'm sayin'

Turning deep blue skies to gray n' clouds mustering

    I'm shitting out hurricanes

    Brain tissue bubbling like "Alka-Seltzer"

    Punch lines exploding like parliament

    So remember, remember

    The 5th of November

    Or better yet remember

    These Rebel VS.

Like carrots and weed for cataracts

Like stocking caps and weave for hoodrats

Like J-lo as a fly girl in" Money Train"

Before Marc Anthony, the twins, and Affleck

Before that Puffy shit, "Glow" and Hollywood made her ass whack

Did I mention the Rebel VS.?

Filled with bible verses and crass curses

    Paradoxology

    Filled with brimstone ambrosia

Shot to the heart adrenaline for that Ragu on your chest

    (Blood that is)

It's the first time you had sex

    Chasing in high school

Under the bleachers, behind the school, in the locker in the hallway

Its Pandora's Box unlocked, contents unchecked

    Unquenched

    Lust, like harlots in Babylon

    Pieces of the Berlin wall

    Injustice crumbles, it falls

    It's a Rebel VS.

    Super imposes itself atop universe

Leans over the ravine and means to jump first

Rebel VS. stares into the abyss and laughs

Cuts the unlooseable knot in half

Cuts bright tunnel light through obsidian souls path

Gives purpose to your devil's workshop

Soaks O2 from trees, prays in the dirt on its knees, and takes nourishment from sunflower seeds

Then plants the refuse on the weekends

And you would think it was vegan

    And you'd be wrong

    These Rebel VS.

    Omnivorous

Like Venus fly traps they eat meat!

Rend and tear they knash teeth

    And sometimes it's bittersweet

It can make you cold like a rabbits scream

One part Biggie, one part Pac, half pint of Nas and two parts Hov

    These Rebel VS.

Older than a Methuselah yearbook picture

Older than the soil beneath the Nile river

Older than the collective conscious of the womb that birthed you

Older than the collective conscious that birthed Jesus

And like footprints on the beach, just one set, they carried you

Older than the ideas of peace, harmonics, and love

Older than firmament touching sunsets to sunrises

    Let there be darkness…

Older than the notion of good or evil

When one stood alone and the word was solitude

I mean old cat, like way back

    Before time had a number

    Before memory had a name

    Before conscious was intangible

When subconscious was an animal, and it roamed the darkness

Before molecules and atoms, sub particles

Before electrons started doing break dances

Before the Anglos met the Saxons

    Brain cells were immortal

    Elephants were hairy

    When imagination was unfiltered

    Before terrorism was scary

When a gun was something you said

    It spit…

    Rebel verses

Like a promise made to you by GOD celebrated by rainbow

Like a promise made to you by wifey celebrated by the brain blow

Like a promise made to you by your mother celebrated by your birth though

Hurts though, she endures to be in your presence

Her body nourishes yours designed to be fertile

For months you lived in her shell like a turtle

And now you've made her immortal

And in the beginning there was and maybe in the end there can be only one

But isn't that what we strive for

Through marriage, through friendship and love

One life, one nation, one love

One person, five limbs, one glove

The sections of my soul gravitate toward heaven

The inner working of my body makes up universes

    That's why when I expel

    I expel

    Rebel VS.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
