    Rise, Grief

    Rise, Grief

    Rise, grief, the heavy steam;
    Exchange ashes for beauty.
    Let stillness and silence
    be pervaded by the noise
    of joy; let the ice melt
    from our frozen hearts and bring
    tulips of Spring merging
    out of the thawed soil of
    current memories that
    need to fade like laundered rags.

    short to the point, could be about lost love, could be about death, could be about a relationship that went south but might be springing anew

    had to read it a few times but very metaphoric!! lots of feeling there and very open to your own iinterpretations...very nice!!

    To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
