    Sacrifice of the Heart

    Letting go of you

Feels like a defeat of the Heart

    What we shared was a

    Love that awakens the soul

What I have for you is

    Not a hopeless Love

Nor a stubborn disregard for your decision

I’m the quiet one looking over the horizon

The sun fades with our Love

    With what we had

Sometimes it’s good to be sad

    When I need a Tear

I need only to think of your fare well

Losing you broke not just my Heart

It broke my world completely apart

GOD saw fit to give my Heart a fresh start

    After you

    I’ll always miss you

But I must live past your memory

    The Sunrises

    And I’m watching

    For a better Love

    Dearest

    All my Love

    Yesterday

And all the days before today

    Goodbye

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
