Poem Commentary

This was dedicated to my mother in law, whom we recently lost.

SEA OF TRANQUILLITY

As I sit by the sea a place she found tranquillity,
my heart was troubled from the loss of her company.

I sat and listened to the waves gently caressing the sand,
I heard a voice and I listened more intently, and I found it
was her's saying " Do not be sad, weep not for me for I will
always be here with thee" Her voice was gentle and so sweet
saying "No pain I feel no tears to shed for my children were
with me as I rose up to heaven, you love carried me there.
So fear not the emptyness in your heart, for now I have the
wings of love you gave to me.

So come and visit me by the sea, my place of comfort
and tranquillity."

It's sound good. I like to use the rhyming dictionary at poetry.com.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
